Multiples Tables A and B, also known as the Calculation of Multiples are a fantastic way for students to have more practice with their math facts. This material includes Table A and B, control chart and instructions on how to use it. Both Table A and B and the control charts are meant to be printed off and put on the shelf, This work is an abstraction of the bead chains and a perfect work for elementary students. This work can be done individually or in a group. By filling out this table, the child is learning language in this exercise as well as practicing math facts. They will then be able to express themselves mathematically.
These tables could be combined into one large table. For practical reasons, that large table is divided into two
sections: A & B. Calculation of Multiples is part of a series of works concerning multiples that includes Multiples Sheet and Table C. Tables A & B should be completed prior to work with Table C. Table A and B allow many opportunities for students to make connections between combinations of multiples, discover that as the value of the multiplicand increases, the length of its column decreases and observe that it is not possible to reach 100 for each number.
